ਦਾਲਿ ਸੀਧਾ ਮਾਗਉ ਘੀਉ ॥
दालि सीधा मागउ घीउ ॥
Dhaal seedhaa maago ghee-o ||
I beg for lentils and ghee.
ਹਮਰਾ ਖੁਸੀ ਕਰੈ ਨਿਤ ਜੀਉ ॥
हमरा खुसी करै नित जीउ ॥
Hamraa khusee karai nith jee-o ||
My soul is always happy.
ਪਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੀਆ ਛਾਦਨੁ ਨੀਕਾ ॥
पन्ह्हीआ छादनु नीका ॥
Pehnhee-aa chhaadhan neekkaa ||
I wear fine clothes.
ਅਨਾਜੁ ਮਗਉ ਸਤ ਸੀ ਕਾ ॥੧॥
अनाजु मगउ सत सी का ॥੧॥
Anaaj mago sath see kaa ||1||
I beg for the grain of the seven seas. ||1||
ਗਊ ਭੈਸ ਮਗਉ ਲਾਵੇਰੀ ॥
गऊ भैस मगउ लावेरी ॥
Ga-oo bhais mago laaveree ||
I beg for cows and buffaloes,
ਇਕ ਤਾਜਨਿ ਤੁਰੀ ਚੰਗੇਰੀ ॥
इक ताजनि तुरी चंगेरी ॥
Ik thaajan thuree changee ||
And a fine, fast mare.
ਘਰ ਕੀ ਗੀਹਨਿ ਚੰਗੀ ॥
घर की गीहनि चंगी ॥
Ghar kee geehan changee ||
My household woman is good;
ਜਨੁ ਧੰਨਾ ਲੇਵੈ ਮੰਗੀ ॥੨॥੪॥
जनु धंना लेवै मंगी ॥੨॥੪॥
Jan Dhannaa levai mangee ||2||4||
