सबदि धुनी सुणी मनु त्रिपति आगै ॥੧॥ रहाउ ॥
Sabad dhunee sunee man thripat aagai ||1|| rahaau ||

ਕਹਤ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥
कहत नानकु सुणहु रे भाई ॥
Kehath Naanak sunahu re bhaaee ||
Nanak says, listen, O Siblings of Destiny,

ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਾਜੈ ਭਾਈ ॥੧॥
अनहद सबदु वाजै भाई ॥੧॥
Anhad sabad vaajai bhaaee ||1||
The unstruck melody of the Shabad vibrates, O Siblings of Destiny. ||1||

ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਾਜੈ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਣੈ ॥
घटि घटि सबदु वाजै कोई सुणै ॥
Ghat ghat sabad vaajai koee sunai ||
Within each and every heart, the Shabad resonates; some listen and attain it.

ਸੋਈ ਬੂਝੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਆਪਿ ਕਰੈ ॥੨॥
सोई बूझै जिसु आपि करै ॥੨॥
Soee boojhai jis aap karai ||2||
Only those understand it whom God blesses with understanding. ||2||

ਸਬਦਿ ਸੁਹਾਵੈ ਸਦਾ ਸੋਭਾ ॥
सबदि सुहावै सदा सोभा ॥
Sabad suhaavai sadaa sobhaa ||
Through the Shabad, one is adorned with eternal glory.

ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਆ ॥੩॥੧॥
नानक जिसु मस्तकि लिखिआ होआ ॥੩॥੧॥
Nanak jis masthak likhi-aa hoaa ||3||1||
