"Deho Darash Sukhdateya" is a beautiful shabad by Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Sikh Guru. It is a plea to the Divine to grant the blissful vision of His presence and to be merged in His love. This shabad is found in the Guru Granth Sahib on Ang 534.

अवरु न पालीआ तू दीप लोअ आलिआ ॥
Avar na paalee-aa thoo deep loa aali-aa ||
I have not cherished any other; You are the lamp of the world, the Embodiment of Light.
ਤੂ ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਗਤਾ ਸਚੁ ॥੧॥
तू थान थनंतरि रवि रहिआ नानक भगता सचु ॥੧॥
Thoo thaan thananthar rav rahi-aa Naanak bhagataa sach ||1||
You are pervading and permeating all places and interspaces; O Nanak, You are the True Support of Your devotees. ||1||

Your devotees are forever hungry for You.
ਹਰਿ ਲੋਚਾ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਮੇਰੀਆ ॥
हरि लोचा पूरनु मेरीआ ॥
Har lochaa pooran meree-aa ||
O Lord, please, fulfill my desires.
ਤੇਰਿਆ ਭਗਤਾ ਉਖ ਸਦ ਤੇਰੀਆ ॥
तेरिआ भगता उख सद तेरीआ ॥
Theree-aa bhagataa ukh sadh teree-aa ||
Your devotees are forever hungry for You.

किसरि जाना सभु सुखाली बुटीआ इहु अहिला मीराजु जीउ ॥
Kisari jaanaa sabh sukhaalee buttee-aa eihu ahilaa meeraj jee-o ||
How can I leave? All pleasures and comforts are just small berries; this world is just a temporary resting place.
ਸਭੁ ਸੁ ਕਾਲੀ ਬਠੀਆ ਇਹੁ ਅਹਿਲਾ ਮੀਰਾਜੁ ਜੀਉ ॥
सभु सु काली बठीआ इहु अहिला मीराजु जीउ ॥
Sabh su kaalee butthee-aa eihu ahilaa meeraj jee-o ||
All pleasures and comforts are just black berries; this world is just a temporary resting place.

I do not know Your Command, O Merciful Lord.
ਤਾਂ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਕਿਸਰਿ ਜਾਣਾ ॥
तां कोइ न किसरि जाना ॥
Than ko-ay na kisar jaanaa ||
Then, no one can leave.
ਸਭੁ ਸੁ ਖਾਲੀ ਬੁਟੀਆ ਇਹੁ ਅਹਿਲਾ ਮੀਰਾਜੁ ਜੀਉ ॥
सभु सु खाली बुटीआ इहु अहिला मीराजु जीउ ॥

ਚਿਮਿ ਚਿਮਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਬਰਸਦਾ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਬੋਲੀ ਖਸਮ ਦਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
चिमि चिमि अम्रितु बरसदा बुलाइआ बोली खसम दा जीउ ॥
Chim chim amrith barsadhaa bulaaeeaa bolee khasam dhaa jee-o ||
Softly and gently, drop by drop, the Ambrosial Nectar trickles down; I speak as my Lord and Master inspires me to speak.
ਬਹੁ ਮਾਨੁ ਕੀਆ ਤੁਧੁ ਉਪਰੇ ਤੂ ਆਪੇ ਪਾਇ ਥਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥
बहु मानु कीआ तुधु उपरे तू आपे पाइ थाइ जीउ ॥
Bahu maan kee-aa thudhh uparay thoo aapay paa-ay thaae jee-o ||
I have placed so much faith in You; please, accept me.
